Ms. Lipscomb Interview

PE: How long have you been at Lipscomb?

Mackenzie: Since Kindergarten so I think that’s 13 or 14 years

PE: What does being Ms. Lipscomb mean to you?

Mackenzie: I think it’s just an honor knowing that like my classmates thought that way of me and thought that that was something that I embodied and that I embody the things that the title holds and, I don’t know, it’s a blessing to know that they think that way of me but it’s also something that I now have to embody in everything I do and I want to be more attentive of and be a good example because of it

PE: Where are you planning on attending college?

Mackenzie: I’m not sure yet but I have applied to both Harding and Auburn and I have it narrowed down to there most likely but I am not sure between the two at the moment.

PE: What is your favorite thing about attending Lipscomb Academy?

Mackenzie: I like the community and the way the teachers are able to incorporate faith into the classroom and just the biggest things I remember are the small friendships that I have that mean a lot and have meant a lot through my long time here and how far we’ve all come together as well as the way the teachers truly care about all the different people in their classes and how they want to know how you are and be a part of your life

Mr. Lipscomb Interview

PE: So how long have you been at Lipscomb?

Coleman: This is my third year at Lipscomb.

PE: What does being Mr. Lipscomb mean to you?

Coleman: It’s an honor for sure that I was chosen for and I’m thankful but at the same time it’s humbling and, yeah, it’s just definitely an honor.

PE: Do you know where you want to go to college?

Coleman: I don’t know right now but my top choices are Samford, Auburn, and Lipscomb University.

PE: What’s your favorite part about being at Lipscomb Academy?

Coleman: Honestly, coming from a public school, I love how small it is just cause I get to know everybody on a more personal level and hang out with all my friends. I also love all the flex time I get just to hang out with people and get some work done.
